  On one of my many days of browsing DealDey , i came across a chicken and chips deal @ N1200 for two people. So i purchased it and went along with a friend to check out this spot. I had never heard of it before and its location was a bit random for me.

  On arrival, i see there are seats both inside and outside but we opt to seat outside and proceed to speak to the waitresses (they were heavy in conversation and it seemed like we were disturbing their hot gist) who eventually proceeded to take our order after verifying the Dealdey coupon.

  The food took about 20 minutes to be prepared, I am a little disappointed that Nigerian restaurants have started serving frozen chips as opposed to cutting them fresh ( i know its time consuming but they taste so much better!). It was a decent size and the chips were crisp..the chicken was also well seasoned and quite large. Although like most places the seasoning did not quite penetrate all the way but i was starving so i ate it all. My Friend wasn’t too impressed though so her’s was basically untouched minus the fries.

  Would i go back to McDarnells…not on purpose, maybe if i was passing by in a hungry state and ready to eat just anything. Although the environment was neat, the service was quite crappy and nothing to write home about.
