  I've had shawarma from here quite a few times, and so far so good. You have the option of a chicken and sausage, beef , or chicken shawarma . They also offer the shawarma in different sizes, small medium or large ; which is nice that you get too chose the proportion that you want. The shawarma had a lot of sauce in it which made it a bit messy to eat with your hands. Other than that my experience with Chicken Capitol has been pretty good.

  My two favorite places to get good shawarma where I know I won’t ever be disappointed are Drumstix and Chicken Capitol. I had been seriously craving shawarma so off to Chicken Capitol I went to fill my craving. There’s nothing special about this place, it’s your regular fast food type joint that has food selections in front of you and then shawarma. They have a location in Wuse 2 and Zone 3 (only go to the Wuse 2 location, don’t say I didn’t tell you). I like sitting in the inner room because well it’s chic and more comfortable.

  To place your order, you go to the counter to order what ever food you see available i.e. rice, stew, swallow, etc. If you are ordering shawarma, they will give you a sheet on how you want your shawarma made i.e. size, with or without hotdog, pepper or no pepper, fries or no fries, cheese or no cheese, etc. After placing your order and given your number, you sit down and wait patiently for it to be ready. I ordered a medium chicken and sausage shawarma (N1500) and my friend got a large chicken shawarma (N1800). I specifically asked the lady attending to us to cut my shawarma in half, which to me would 1. make it look better for pictures, and 2. Would be easier for me to eat. Did I get it ow I wanted? Of course not! All the same, the shawarma was still as good as Chicken Capitol shawarmas are. I think I like shawarama with cheese…it tastes yummier. My friend that I went with, didn’t seem especially pleased with his. He said it wasn’t real shawarma. It’s very real to me though.

  The staff was ok. I can’t really remember how they were actually, which means they didn’t leave an impression on me whether good or bad. This location is very clean probably partly because it’s still fairly new, but I like it and really hopes it stays like that.
